Every contact record in Shape contains a complete, timestamped history of activity across notes, communications, tasks, statuses, and system events. This centralized timeline allows teams to quickly understand what has happened, who completed each action, and where the contact currently stands without jumping between tools or views.
The Notes section provides a complete history of everything recorded on a contact, including manual notes, AI call insights, progress updates, and documentation. This gives users immediate context around conversations, outcomes, and next steps without needing to search across the platform.
The Text tab shows the full inbound and outbound message history for the contact, creating a clear communication timeline from first interaction to present.
Checklists provide a structured way to track required steps throughout a transaction. These can be role-based or shared across collaborators, ensuring accountability while keeping workflows consistent and repeatable.
On the right-hand tabs of the record, Shape displays detailed contact and application information. This area is designed for quick reference and helps users understand where a contact stands at any point in the process.
Shape tracks all associated parties tied to a transaction so teams can collaborate more effectively. If a contact has multiple loans or related records, those are visible within the same record.
The Tasks tab shows the full task history for the contact, while the Communication Log consolidates calls, emails, and texts into a single view. This ensures all outreach and follow-up activity is documented in one place.
The Monitoring tab provides a timestamped history of every status change, giving visibility into how a contact has progressed through each stage of the pipeline. This applies to primary statuses as well as servicing or loan-related status lists.
Beyond visible interactions, Shape maintains a complete activity log that includes system actions, background events, and API activity. Users can review everything in one consolidated view or use segmented sections to focus on specific activity types.
