Your past funded loans are often one of your best sources of future business. Shape makes it easy to filter your transaction history, identify high-value segments, and save those filters for ongoing remarketing efforts. This video walks through how to build a targeted list using filters inside the Loans view.
Why Filtering Matters
Filtering helps you quickly find borrowers who may benefit from:
- A refinance opportunity
- A rate drop
- A home equity solution
- A new purchase loan
Instead of scrolling through old records, you can isolate the exact segment you want in seconds.
Building a Filtered List in the Loans View
In this example, the goal is to find all funded loans with interest rates above 6 percent. Shape’s filtering tools make this straightforward.
Steps
- 1. Go to the Loans view
- 2. Click Filters
- 3. Select the statuses you want to include
- Funded
- Closed
- 4. Add additional filters as needed
- Pre-built filters like Interest Rate
- Custom field filters for more targeted criteria
Since the goal here is anything 6 percent and above, the example uses a custom filter:
- Field: Interest Rate
- Condition: Greater than
- Value: 5.99
Using 5.99 ensures the filter captures all loans at 6 percent or higher.
Once applied, the list updates instantly to show only matching transactions.
Saving Your Filter for Future Use
If it’s a list you’ll use repeatedly, you can save it.
To save a filter
- 1. Open Filters
- 2. Choose Save Filtered List
- 3. Name it clearly, such as “Funded Greater Than 6%”
- 4. Save
Your saved filters appear in a dropdown, making it easy to reuse them anytime without rebuilding the logic.
Sharing Filters With Your Team
Saved filters can also be shared with other users. This ensures your team works from the same targeted list and can run consistent remarketing or retention campaigns.
Turning Filters Into Action
With your filtered list in place, you can:
- Run a refinance outreach campaign
- Send targeted emails or texts
- Assign tasks or follow-ups
- Queue AI calling or texting
- Track results across a clear borrower segment
Filtering becomes a simple way to uncover revenue opportunities in the database you already have.
