Shape Software supports the import of Fannie Mae 3.2 and MISMO 3.4 files that have been exported from a third party Loan Origination System (LOS) or similar software platform. Choose where you’d like the record to import to and then drag and drop or select your 3.2 or 3.4 files into Shape’s “Imports” settings page and let the software map the data for you.
You can import 3.2 and 3.4 files in the same area that you would do your record imports. Navigate to Settings > Import. Once there, choose the record to import to (Leads, Prospects, Borrowers, Referral Partners, Associates) and then drop that file into the “Drop Files to Upload” area. The system will automatically map the file for you.
Note: When importing 3.2 and 3.4 files, the files will automatically assign to the user importing the files. Additionally, 3.2 and 3.4 files do not contain the “Status” of the file, so it is important to status the newly imported record after you’ve completed the import.
Export FNM 3.2 or MISMO 3.4 files from within record details. Click on the “LOS” dropdown and click on “Download to Fannie Mae File” for a 3.2 file download and click on “Download to MISMO 3.4 File” to download a 3.4 file.
User assignment does not carry over when manually importing a 3.2 or 3.4 file into Shape. The file will be assigned to the user that imports it.
Shape will automatically map all the data from your file into the matching fields in Shape.
