Integration Capabilities

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- A Shape Software Account with Administrator Access
- Premium Zapier Account
- You need to get Zapier access from Homebot unless you already have Homebot Zapier access
- Request Zapier Beta Access for Homebot AppText ‘Homebot Zap‘ to (515) 375-5550You’ll instantly get a text message with a link to request Zapier access for your Homebot app. Once you have beta access to Zapier from HomeBot, you are ready to setup this workflow.
Step 1: Get Webhook URL in Zapier
- Login to Zapier to build Zap
- Click Make Zap
- Enter Zap name, Shape > Homebot
- Search for “Webhooks by Zapier” in Choose App & Event
- Choose Trigger Catch Hook
- Copy the URL generated
Step 2: Set Up Webhook in Shape
- Log into Shape
- Navigate to Settings > Manage Webhooks
- Add Webhook Titled Shape > Homebot
- Paste in the webhook URL generated from Zapier in Step 1 into the field named API Call URL
- Choose the webhook “Type” as Field
- Choose the following selections into the Choose Shape Field Values field: First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile Phone, Tracking Date Closed, Borrower Date of Birth
Step 3: Set Up Trigger in Shape
- Create Triggers Titled Automation: Homebot and turn the status On and Save & Continue
- In the triggers area below, Add Trigger, select Status as the trigger type and choose which status you’d like to use to automatically create a new client in Homebot. Most commonly, the status Funded or Closed is selected.
- For the Action Type, select Webhooks and select the new webhook you created for Homebot.
- The Action Schedule, choose Immediately
- Press Save
- Next, Create a new record in Shape, fill out the fields that will be sent to Homebot, and change the status to whatever the status you selected to send the trigger (likely Funded or Closed)
Step 4: Set Up Homebot in Zapier
- In the Trigger part of your Zap, Test Trigger and make sure that the record you added and changed the status to in Step 3 came through the webhook.
- Enter Homebot in the Choose App & Action field
- Select Create Client in the Choose Action drop-down
- Select your Homebot app account
- Select the Email field, click on CallAction New Contact
- Select the Shape Tracking Closed Date merge field
- Select the Shape Borrower Date of Birth merge field
- Select the Shape Email merge field
- Select the Shape First Name merge field
- Select the Shape Last Name merge field
- Select the Shape Phone merge field
- Click Continue
- Turn On your new Homebot Zap
Note: Note: All leads that have reached the “Closed” status in Shape can then be instantly sent into your Homebot app to receive their personalized Homebot reports.
