What Is Credzu?

Credzu helps borrowers improve their credit so they can qualify for a mortgage in the future.
This integration connects Shape CRM with Credzu so leads can automatically be invited into the Credzu program.

Note: For direct assistance with integration steps, please reach out to your Shape Account Manager or help@setshape.com so our team can assist!

Before You Start

You will need:

  • Your Shape CRM login
  • Your Credzu API Key (provided by Credzu)
  • Admin access inside Shape CRM

Overview: How It Works

Here’s the simple version of the process:

  1. A loan officer changes a lead’s status to Credzu Credit Repair.
  1. Shape CRM sends the lead information to Credzu.
  1. Credzu creates a special invite link called a Magic Link.
  1. Shape saves the Magic Link on the lead.
  1. The borrower receives an email and/or text message invite through Shape with the magic link.
  1. The borrower clicks the Magic Link in the invite.
  1. Credzu begins the credit repair process with the client.

a. If client falls out, Credzu will prompt Shape to follow up on the loan officer’s behalf.

  1. Credzu sends status updates back into Shape CRM.
  1. Once the credit approval threshold is met Credzu will notify the client’s loan officer on Shape.

Part 1: Create the Needed Statuses

Step 1: Add the “Credzu Credit Repair” Status

In Shape CRM:

  1. Go to Settings
  1. Click Custom Configuration
  1. Click Manage Statuses
  1. Click Add Status

  • Credzu Credit Repair
  1. Click Save

Step 2: Create the Credzu Status List

Still inside Manage Statuses:

  • Credzu
  1. Open the new Credzu list
  1. Add these statuses exactly:
  • awaiting_click

  • active_repair
  • mortgage_ready
  1. Click Save

The Magic Link is the special invite link sent to the borrower.

  1. Go to Users and Permissions
  1. Click Manage Departments
  1. Open Loan Officers
  1. Click Workflow Tabs
  1. Click Leads
